For one afternoon only, as part of the Wonderful World Festival, a section of Garema Place will be transformed into a book reading oasis. Comfy chairs and shade, the perfect escape at the end of a long week.
The Impact Comics Book Garden will be officially opened with a special reading by internationally renowned science fiction novelist and comic book enthusiast Daniel O’Malley.
A DJ will be gently filling the air with appropriately chilled-out reading music.
Comic book sommeliers will be on hand to recommend a title from a specially curated selection of Book Garden titles. Whether you are just learning to read or are an experienced bibliophile, the experts will be on hand to guide you to the perfect book for your afternoon.
You are also welcome to bring along your own book and enjoy the atmosphere, as the music for a very limited time.
