Tucked within Hotel Indigo Brisbane City Centre, Izakaya Publico is no longer your traditional restaurant, it has evolved into one of Brisbane’s most distinctive event and private dining spaces. Inspired by the vibrant energy of Japan’s izakayas and the local character of Brisbane’s laneways, this intimate venue offers a unique setting for celebrations, corporate gatherings, and exclusive dining experiences.

From private dinners and cocktail events to intimate weddings and brand activations, Izakaya Publico blends moody design, eclectic artwork, and refined Japanese-inspired menus to create events that are both stylish and memorable. The space can be tailored for small or large groups, with flexible layouts and curated food and beverage offerings available through our dedicated events team.

While Izakaya Publico is now primarily a private event venue, it still opens its doors each morning for breakfast service from 6:30am to 10:30am, available to both hotel guests and the public.

Whether you’re planning an unforgettable private event or simply looking to start your day with a delicious breakfast in a beautifully designed space, Izakaya Publico offers a one-of-a-kind experience that captures the creativity and flavour of Hotel Indigo Brisbane.
