Tarndwarncoort Homestead is a wool growing farm near Birregurra in the Great Ocean Road region of Victoria. In Australian style, the heritage listed property is also known as Tarndie.

Visitors can experience a blend of history and connection to land by staying in two refurbished farm buildings in the surrounds of the Tarndwarncoort Homestead complex.

A flock of Polwarth sheep are always close by and the Homestead has a Wool Shop making for a truly hand-crafted stay.

The Stables Studio is a perfect space for one or two people to take in a country retreat without giving up the comforts of modern life. One bedroom for up to two guests. It offers an open, airy, modern fitout within the former horse stables originally built around 1905. A light filled double level space featuring textile art pieces, natural materials and the simple luxury of quiet space surrounded by trees, sheep and even an old stone ruin.

The Farmer’s Cottage is a delightful 1940s workers cottage situated in the middle of a heritage working sheep farm. Two bedrooms for up to four guests. It has a wood-fire in the cosy lounge makes for a perfect crafting nook. An outdoor bath overlooking grazing sheep paddocks deepens the connection between land and fibre.
