Juniper is one of the original pioneering Margaret River vineyards and was planted in 1973 when it was known as Wright’s. The present vineyard block was created through subdivision by the well-known Western Australian artist family, the Junipers, after whom it is now named.
The staff are friendly and engaging and will be delighted to share local knowledge with you regarding the region, as well as chat about wine at whatever level you feel comfortable with. They also offer for sale perfectly cellared wines dating back to the turn of the century.
Juniper takes great pride in their gardens around the cellar door which are a riot of colour all year around. The lawns next to Wilyabrup Brook under the shade of the peppermint trees make an ideal picnic spot in summer. In the winter months, they encourage you to curl up with a glass of red next to the pot belly fire in the cellar door on one of the sofas.
Enjoy fine wine in a relaxed setting.
