Kentucky, a sprawling 400-acre estate, has undergone a transformation from its dairy farming roots and now stands as a dedicated haven for raising horses and beef cattle. This remarkable property offers approximately three kilometers of creek frontage, with its landscape encompassing a diverse range of environments, from lush creek flats to rugged sandstone ridges. Adorned with several dams and a serene billabong, the property attracts a vibrant array of birdlife, including the majestic Jabiru storks, while Wedgetail Eagles gracefully patrol the skies above.
Native inhabitants also thrive here, with pretty-faced wallabies being endemic to the region and the occasional sighting of Koalas gracing the property with their presence. Kentucky’s backdrop extends to the Hogarth Range, an area renowned for its numerous orchards, adding to the picturesque surroundings.
Future plans include the conversion of the old dairy bails into a camp kitchen, but for now, they provide shelter when needed. Visitors are encouraged to be self-contained during their stay, with the property currently in this stage of development. Additionally, guests are welcome to bring their pets as long as they are kept under control, ensuring a harmonious coexistence with the natural beauty of Kentucky.
