Often referred to as Australia’s ‘spiritual home of surfing’, Kirra is one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic surfing spots. Part of the World Surf Reserve and it’s known for producing a long, hollow, barrelling wave in big swells, with the rock groyne providing the perfect spot for spectators to watch from.
