Kodu is a stylish, serene Sellicks Beach retreat. Located on the esplanade, directly across from the beach staircase, Kodu offers easy access to the sand and sea. The rear of the house overlooks the Sellicks Hills, creating a peaceful escape immersed in the area’s natural, rugged beauty.
The Space
Kodu is a 3-bedroom home with an 8 seater Koala couch in an open plan downstairs living area with views of the water. The house has both indoor and outdoor dining areas, Weber bbq, a barista coffee machine and 2 bathrooms with a washing machine and dryer. The house is eco friendly where possible and stocks local produce where possible to showcase different small businesses in the area.
Originally built in the 1970s, this house was the owner’s grandmother’s retreat, and she lovingly named it “Kodu”—which means “home” in Estonian. The owners have embraced its stylish foundations, blending vintage character with modern comforts to create a warm and inviting space for your getaway.
