Set inland from Cairns is a quaint little village in the heart of the Tablelands. Yungaburra, with all its history, is National Trust registered. It is also home to the wonderful Kookaburra Lodge. Nestled in a pocket of open rainforest, Yungaburra is rich in nature’s treasures.

Kookaburra Lodge is mountain bike friendly, so if you’re coming up on your bike or bringing it with you, the Lodge has a secure storage area for your bike, wash down area, tools and workbench available for use whilst you enjoy your stay at the Kookaburra Lodge.

All rooms have a garden view with semi private veranda/terrace outdoor sitting area where room service breakfast is served or where you can sit and enjoy the birds and butterflies amidst the tropical fragrant garden. They have nine queen bed rooms, and three twin single rooms each with two single beds.
