La Rocher is a family-owned and run Eco Retreat situated in the soft foothills of the Wollumbin caldera, right in the heart of the Tweed Valley and Northern Rivers hinterland, close to the historical village of Uki.

The story behind the name is linked to the surname “Rocher” which is French for “large rock”, thus referencing the spectacular Wollumbin that is a focal point of the view from the property. The property is designed with three main focuses: low environmental impact geared towards sustainability; peace and tranquillity to escape rest and recharge; and luxury and comfort for an indulgent experience.

La Rocher hosts four luxury villas, designed by owner Graham Rocher and built in 2019. The villas are strategically placed on the property for maximum privacy and ideal panoramic views and feature contemporary bespoke interior design. Just metres from the villas is the infinity pool with an attached hot tub spa with sun loungers and cabanas to enjoy the expansive views and lush surroundings.

The property spans 117 acres of predominantly untouched native rainforest and bushland. This area features the Koala Corridor Program and Biodiversity Agreement and contains several kilometres of walking trails, a creek, two dams and multiple viewpoints.
