L’Air Du Wombat Truffles Farmstay accommodation provides convenient and modern slow-stay units as well as a variety of camping options, ideal for your next city getaway.
The 100 acre property backs onto the Shoalhaven River, where you can enjoy a swim, fish, canoe or go gold panning. The track from the farm to the river is recommended for 4WD due to sand and a steep slope. It is approximately 2 kilometres long so makes a lovely bush walk or mountain bike ride (a map can be provided upon arrival).
In addition to their slow-stay units, they also offer a Rustic Bush Cabin with moon bathing facilities and a Glamping Van in a Bush Setting. Enjoy the outdoor activities or just read a book, play games (cards, petunque, quoits or giant jenga available) or take in the night stars.
The owner’s house is just next door to the burrow so you will see them come and go, however they do provide full privacy. Their friendly dogs also share the yard.
The farm is quite remote so no local takeaway services. The Nerriga Hotel has dinner facilities on Friday and Saturday nights or lunch from Wednesday to Sunday and they also sell ice.
