Lancemore Milawa is located at the heart of it all. Tucked between the twisting grapevines of the famed Brown Brothers winery, the 40-room hotel emanates the elegance and style of a sophisticated country residence, forming an idyllic base from which to explore the rich bounty of produce, local history and neighbouring towns. The onsite Restaurant Merlot led by their executive chef showcases the best of seasonally driven paddock-to-pate dining. With a pared-back interior floor-to-ceiling windows that frame both the vineyard and refurbished courtyard, it’s a place where a passion for everything delicious about the High Country comes to the table.
Divided across two levels, the rooms and suites overlook manicured gardens, each framing views of the vineyard or distant alpine peaks. With a choice between Sunrise and Sunset rooms and suites, or the indulgent Balcony and Garden suites, guests are spoilt for space. Each air-conditioned space features polished concrete floors, bespoke timber joinery and a luxurious bouclé daybed. The in-room mini bar comprises an enticing assortment of locally sourced wines, beer and snacks.

The ground-level outdoor terrace is the ideal spot to enjoy a grazing board and a bottle of King Valley’s finest as the sun dips to the west over Brown Brothers vineyards.
Garden Sunrise
With 32-square-metres of space, each Garden Sunrise room is appointed with a king-size bed, luxurious bouclé daybed, Samsung Smart television, mini-bar and ensuite. The ground-floor terrace is a welcoming spot for your morning coffee – or within wandering distance to a nearby sunlounge in summer or fire-pit in the cooler months.

At 32-square-metres, the spacious Superior Balcony Sunset rooms offer elevated views across the western gardens and Milawa-Bobinawarrah Road towards the historic Brown Brothers vineyard. Superior Balcony Sunrise
As the morning sun caresses the grapevines to the east, the Superior Balcony Sunrise rooms offer views as far as Mount Buffalo.
