It is every winemaker’s dream to own their own label, and in 2017, that dream came true with the release of my wine collection “Lévrier Wines by Jo Irvine”.
Lévrier, meaning greyhound, combines my love of winemaking and the advocacy I have for my greyhounds who have been a major part of my life for over 20 years.

I have my own ‘dog friendly’ winery in the Barossa Valley, South Australia, where by appointment only, you are welcome to enjoy a wonderful wine tasting experience while your dogs play in my enclosed dog park.

I work with the Barossa’s grape growers to create vegan friendly wine styles from the Barossa and Eden Valley, premium varieties of Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Shiraz. The Adelaide Hills region I source our limited and rare variety of Meslier variety which I produce the Sparkling Meslier Brut Rose`.
Levrier Wines have been very highly rated, and in 2021, I was awarded “Wine of the Year” at the London Wine Competition. Sommeliers Choice Awards. I am proudly a Baron of the Barossa.
