The Lockhart Shire Walk of Fame is established in Walter Day Park, Lockhart, to honour those residents of Lockhart Shire whose skill, character and contribution to Australia has been exceptional, realising prominent achievement in their chosen field.
The purpose of these signs is to identify, recognise and honour significant individuals who have contributed to the character and awareness of the Lockhart Shire and to generate a sense of community and motive and inspire youth throughout the Shire
