The Georgian homestead is almost two centuries old; the main house and surrounding buildings date back to 1838 and were built by an Irish immigrant and his family.
The homestead overlooks the Great Dividing Range and a creek that stems from the Lachlan River. With its view of the hills and valley, it almost feels like it has its own natural amphitheatre. It is simply beautiful.
The gardens surrounding the homestead are available to host ceremonies, and receptions or other functions can be held within walking distance (100 metres) from the main house and gardens. Longfield is available for a large range of events including weddings, celebrations, field days and corporate functions.
