Hands On Horse and Carriage Experience

Their hands on horse and carriage experience offers you not only the chance to enjoy a carriage ride through the beautiful countryside, you can also get up close and personal with the horses, brushing them, helping to harness up, and just enjoying hugging and feeding the rest of the herd.

Totally flexible with days and times, the experience goes for just over an hour, and is only AUD100pp (maximum group of 4).

What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than by touring the Christmas lights of Strathalbyn, with your family or friends in a Horse-Drawn Carriage. Lasting approximately one hour, the tour travels an approximate 6km loop, viewing some beautiful Christmas light displays with the joyful jingle of Christmas carols playing in the background. Delightful for young or old.

Budget Friendly Carriage Ride

A 45 minute ride horse drawn carriage ride around the back roads of Bletchley, in the lovely Fleurieu Peninsula.

Marvel at the power of the horse pulling your comfortable cart, while passing working farms, wildlife and far reaching views of the Coorong and lower lakes.

The whole family will enjoy the gentle clip clip of the horses hooves, the birdsong and sometimes spotting kangaroos and other native wildlife.

They are able to accommodate groups of up to 8. Please contact them before booking if you have any access or mobility requirements- they have a few options, but would like to discuss with you.

Horse Drawn Dark History Tour

A spooky offering, working with Glenbarr Homestead, tour Strathalbyn like never before, by horse and carriage, visiting the dark history of the township.

Departing from the tourist information centre at either 6pm or 8pm (pending daylight hour), tours travel the oldest and spookiest parts of Strathalbyn, and including a foot tour of Glenbarr Homestead, one of the original buildings in Strathalbyn, built by the town founders, and the very first morgue. There is known paranormal activity at Glenbarr, so you never know who or what you might see there.

Dark History Tours last for approximately 2 hours and include supper.
