Just 25 minutes from Launceston, in the heart of Northern Tasmania and along the Northern Tasmanian Tasting Trail, Love Lucy Boots Wine Room is well worth a detour off the highway.
Love Lucy Boots is a small, intimate venue showcasing wines and light bites from regional and family-owned producers. The wine and food offering is ever-changing, shaped by the seasons and new wine discoveries.
From Thursday to Monday, 7.30am to 11am, the venue operates as a takeaway espresso bar, serving coffee alongside pastries and sourdough from some of Tasmania’s finest bakeries, available daily until sold out.
By afternoon, the front room of this lovingly restored 1870s home transforms into a cosy and character-filled wine bar, seating just 19 guests. Every Sunday from 2pm, Lucy hosts her Sunday Sessions, celebrating local wines, good conversation and community around the shared long table. Throughout winter, wine and whisky evenings with local producers become a seasonal highlight.
Created by Lucy, who recently returned home to Tasmania, Love Lucy Boots is built on heartfelt hospitality and a desire to showcase the best of the island.
Warm, welcoming and a little unexpected, it is a place that captures the spirit of old-world hospitality and the romance of travel-inspired evenings.
