The all-inclusive Mary Valley Tour is a great change of scenery from the beautiful beaches to the nearby country, which is equally as stunning and picturesque. This tour has it all, from sightseeing and a scenic country train ride to the indulgence of the local produce, and an energising guided nature walk through giant fig trees to finish the day. This tour includes a one-way train ride on the Mary Valley Rattler classic steam locomotive between historical Gympie and Amamoor stations.

Itinerary highlights

Busstop Espresso, Cooroy

You’ll start the day with a beautiful scenic drive west of the Noosa region where we will break up the trip with a stop at the iconic and very local Busstop Espresso for a hot drink.

Mary Valley Rattler, Amamoor

Our journey will continue then to the northern reaches of the Mary Valley where we will see the historic and famous Mary Valley Rattler Classic Steam Engine roll into the historical Amamoor station.

Country Drive through Kadanga

A picturesque country drive through the Mary Valley where the towns keep getting smaller and the surrounding landscape more enticing. You’ll be mesmerised by the serenity.

Kenilworth

Once you’ve had time to enjoy and appreciate the historic Mary Valley Rattler, we’ll take another scenic country drive to the heart of the Mary Valley, Kenilworth, where you will be treated to a delicious lunch and drink of your choosing.
Don’t eat too much for lunch though, because you will want to save room for the mouth-watering options on Kenilworth’s main street, such as donuts, chocolate, and dairy products.

Imbil

Before you become too attached to Kenilworth, you will relax on our luxury bus and escape for a nice little country drive to a cute little town called Imbil, nominated as one of Queensland’s top tiny tourist towns. Here we’ll explore the picturesque corners of this pretty little town and stop at a panoramic view of the Mary Valley.

Dingo Creek Vineyard

It’s now time to put the legs up and enjoy a premium wine tasting with cheese platter at the locals favourite winery on the Mary Valley’s east side. We will then complete our journey by dropping you at your accommodation by no later than approximately 5:30pm, in time for sunset and dinner.
