You can indulge in lazy days on the beach, snorkelling and diving amongst the coral gardens and reef, fishing the deep, kayaking the reef flats or nighttime star gazing with Masthead Island being full of back-to-basic adventures. With island camping season open from Easter through mid-October, you will find that Masthead Island is the perfect place for a secluded island getaway. As you will be 60 kilometres from the mainland and there are no facilities provided, all essentials for your trip will have to be carried to the island.

Reef Camping, Curtis Ferry Services also provides services to Northwest, Masthead and Lady Musgrave Islands which form part of the Capricorn Bunker Group – known as Southern Great Barrier Reef.
