MerrigongX is the Merrigong Theatre Company’s annual artists’ program, putting artists and their practice at the centre of their community. To encourage artists to take more creative risks and help more people come and see these works, MerrigongX events have no set ticket price. Instead, you simply reserve a spot, show up, then pay what you feel the performance is worth afterwards.
Showing at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre and Wollongong Town Hall, MerrigongX events range from multi-artform performances featuring a line-up of artists (comedy, music, circus, dance and more) as well as film documentary screenings and theatrical shows.
