Located approximately one kilometre off the Western Highway in the historic precinct of The Eureka Rebellion, the Miner’s Retreat Motel offers quiet, peaceful accommodation with spacious gardens.

The motel is ideally located, only metres away from the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka, within walking distance to the Ballarat Wildlife Park and IGA supermarket, and only a few minute’s drive to Sovereign Hill, Kryal Castle, Her Majesty’s Theatre and the Ballarat City Centre.

The motel features four self-contained two bedroom-cabins that comfortably sleep eight, along with 20 quiet motel rooms. A good mixture of accommodation options, public transport available from the motel, easy access and most other facilities make the Miner’s Retreat Motel an ideal place for travellers and family getaway.

Coaches and tour groups are welcome and improved access to the Motel is provided for buses. Breakfast catering is available for tours and coaches as well as package deals.
