Mollymook Beach sweeps for two kilometres between Bannister Point in the north and the southern headland where the Mollymook Golf Club is located. Both ends of the beach are patrolled seasonally and the Mollymook Surf Club, which was established in 1933, is located on the southern end.

Summer carnivals are a regular feature, as are surfing events, snorkelling and diving around the rocky headlands and central reef. Dolphins are frequently spotted frolicking in the surf. You can enjoy the views from the clubhouse or one of the cafes overlooking the beach.
