The site is a simple, level grassed paddock with easy access off a country road in Mawbanna.
10 minutes along the access road are Dip Falls and The Big Tree, as well as Blue Hills Honey Farm and The Colony Cafe (well worth the calories!)
Back down the access road towards the highway is the Millicent Valley walking trail.
At the highway junction, there is access to several long, sandy beaches.
East of the site is Rocky Cape National Park with spectacular hiking tracks, and swimming and fishing spots.
Pets are welcome.
Campfires are permitted, and you may bring your own wood or see your host to organise some wood for you.
