Mugul Mountain Retreat is a 300 acre property adjacent to Mt Colosseum (or Mugul as it is called by the local Indigenous peoples). The property borders the national park of Mt Colosseum. Mugul is a site of significance for the Gooreng Gooreng people. Our property is home to a multitude of pretty face wallabies, kangaroos, bandicoots, goannas, possums and over 60 species of birds. A serene and peaceful place Mugul is where you can experience the energy of a sacred Indigenous site. Accessible for all types of vehicles. Dog friendly. The property offers basic camping without facilities. You will need to be self-sufficient. We have a bush toilet but no showers. At the house there are toilets and showers available for an extra charge. Please see us if required. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren’t in place. You can purchase firewood from us (see Extras). We prefer you to bring your own water, emergency supply can be arranged (we are on tank water). Patchy mobile reception.
