Mypolonga is a small, diverse rural community (we won the Ag Town of the Year Award in 2022) between Murray Bridge and Mannum on the Murray River, with lots of birdlife. About 15 minutes up the road is Mannum Waterfalls – a beautiful place for enjoying nature, walking, climbing, and paddling in the rock pools. And, for interstate visitors, we are about an hour and a quarter from Victor Harbour, Adelaide, or the Barossa Valley. At Mypolonga Sunshine, I offer The Old Stone Dairy, a building that is over 100 years old and has been converted into a comfortable space to rest up for a night or several. It’s not a luxury destination, but has a historic charm, and provides a farm-stay style experience. The property is 7 acres, and there are 3 horses, 2 dogs and 10 chooks also residing here. Dogs and other pets are welcome – you are even welcome to bring your own horse. We have a yard available for your horse, at a small additional cost per night (please add to booking via Extras).
