With over 30 years of experience flying hot air balloons in many areas around the World (the last 23 of them over Melbourne City), Liberty Balloon Flights has operations in Victoria (Melbourne City flights, the Geelong/Bellarine and Yarra Valley area), and in Western Australia, close to Perth (the Avon Valley).
Depending on the wind direction, flights aim to give passengers the best possible sunrise views the day can offer. From flying just above the treetops to climbing high and seeking breathtaking views, passengers are always surprised at how gentle the experience of ballooning is.
With a company fully accredited by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and pilots with thousands of hours of experience flying these aircraft, passengers are in safe and friendly hands while they enjoy the birth of a new day in the oldest form of aviation, a hot air balloon ride.

Launch sites may include Williamstown, Albert Park, or Moorabbin, with landings often in scenic parks or leafy eastern suburbs.
These flights are designed for calm and awe, allowing you to float gently and take in the city from a completely new perspective. A flight-only option makes this magical experience more accessible, while still delivering breathtaking views and unforgettable moments.
Meeting Point: Arrive 1.5 hours before sunrise at The Hotel Windsor, Spring Street.
Parking: Lansdowne Street, near Treasury and Fitzroy Gardens (free Sundays).
