Double Island Point is only accessible by 4X4 vehicles from Noosa around the low tide, its away from the crowds and into the heart of the Great Sandy National Park where many of the local and migrating wildlife can be experienced.
No experience is required for this Noosa kayak tour, beginner friendly location and suitable for all levels. Departure times vary daily as a result of tide times to access Double Island Point along the beach. Please reconfirm for specific departure times. Please allow 5-6 hours from pick up to drop off.

Noosa North Shore
Take a thrilling drive from your pick up in Noosa through the pristine Noosa North Shore with a very short ferry ride over the Noosa river and then onto Teewah Beach. Immerse yourself in 51km of stunning National Park beach driving taking in the towering wind swept scenery and wildlife rich coastline. This epic start to your stand up paddle adventure is part of the Great Sandy National Park and arrival to the tranquil waters of Double Island Point. The only way to access the spectacular location of Double Island Point is along this route around the low tide. This unique driving experience makes this location much less crowded due to its 4wd only access.
Rainbow Coloured Sands
See this unique stretch of coloured cliff face up close and hear about the aboriginal and ecological history of the sands. This location is only accessible along the Great Beach Drive by 4wd and an excellent photo opportunity in this stunning National Park location. One of the many highlights of the trip with towering coloured sands and Fraser Island views.
Double Island Point
Double Island Point is set in one of the worlds most diverse and pristine National Parks and offers incredible natural and aquatic experiences for those looking to explore off the beaten track. Only accessible by 4WD vehicle’s along the beach, Double Island Point’s remoteness makes for spectacular natural beauty, a buzzing hub of local and migrating wildlife and a tropical surf playground that cannot be beaten.
Some of the incredible aquatic highlights include the flat salt water lagoons and tranquil waters known as Honeymoon Bay.
