“Ocean Free” is for those guests wanting to experience a highly personal (25 guests maximum) Great Barrier Reef Tour with the added bonus of having some time on a tropical island (Green Island). To also add a little soft adventure, your mode of transport is a classical 16 metre sailing schooner where you will also experience true sailing on the journey home (wind prevailing).
On arriving at your exclusive mooring on Pinnacle reef, just one kilometre off Green Island, your friendly crew will brief and assist you as you excitedly step straight off the boat to explore the reef and marine life located just one metre below the surface! Enjoy a guided informative snorkel tour on this private protected Marine Park reef site. Turtles and black-tipped reef sharks (totally harmless) are a common sight.
After a morning of snorkelling (or optional diving) indulge in a fresh and tasty smorgasbord lunch while exchanging reef stories with fellow guests. After lunch a short trip in the tender takes you straight to Green Island beach. Explore interpretative walks on this small island or just relax on the pristine beach.
Enjoy a glass of wine and snacks on the sail home.

A maximum of only 25 guests makes Ocean Free a truly personal, customer -oriented Great Barrier Reef Tour as well as a unique sail and tropical island experience.
The only operator having a reef mooring just 1km off Green Island makes Pinnacle Reef exclusive to our guests.
Guests snorkel straight off the boat into a beautiful coral garden where the coral outcrops come to just 1M under the surface for easy viewing
Guests can divide their day between reef and island activities so they are not on a boat all day
On Green Island guests can explore, relax or swim in the clear shallow waters.
Optional conservative diving is very personal – for first time divers 2 to one instructor
