You know dogs are man’s best friend, and they hate missing out on jumping in the car and heading to a new place to sniff and explore with their best friend on the trails. So join a race where you can bring them along to the beautiful Forest Headquarters, just north of Coopernook (between Taree and Kew).
Caravans and campervans are welcome, but please note that Coopernook HQ is unpowered and does not offer a dump station.
This is a seven-kilometre course around the beautiful Coopernook State Forest on the doorstep of the Coopernook village. The course is filled with lots of hidden secrets for you to find and have fun with.
This may be your first official trail run with your dog or you may be old pros at trail racing together.
You have options either 21.1 kilometres, 14 kilometres, 7 kilometres or a short option for beginners four kilometres.
If you are just starting out in trail running or an ultra runner, this course caters for all levels and skills. You can walk the picturesque course or you can run or even race it.
Your best friends have tons of energy, but it can be a new experience consistently running alongside you in a race endurance format, so pick a race that is suited to your dog’s fitness level.
