Sydney Northern Beaches Tour

Sydney Northern Beaches Tour

The Sydney Northern Beaches Tour showcases a paradise within a city. The stunning pristine beaches, beautiful national parks, and wonderful beach culture make it difficult to find a comparison.

The Sydney Northern Beaches tour is a fascinating way to see a side of Sydney that many people never experience. You can visit the amazing Northern Beaches and bush of the north, explore the beautiful flora and fauna, and maybe see a wallaby or goanna or a pelican. You can see the beautiful harbours and Northern beaches, walk around the small rock pools, and see small sea life (such as sea anemones and small crabs). You can walk to Shelley Beach and possibly see a water dragon (another large lizard) in the summer months. You can even take in a night view of the city skyline at one of the best viewpoints.

The Northern Beaches offer natural beauty and a unique relaxed subculture. During summer, people run, walk, cycle, swim, and ply the waterways with an assortment of watercraft. People are often seen going to the beachfront cafes in just their swimwear and bare feet.

Conducted by a person who grew up there, this is a wonderful tour and experience.

North of Sydney Harbour

North of Sydney Harbour

Sydney Harbour is one of the most unique, majestic and pristine harbours in the world. It is famous for the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge as well as its New Year’s Eve fireworks. However, it is much more.

Come and visit a 1920s rock pool with city harbour views, visit Balmoral Beach, and view Spit Bridge (an opening lift bridge).

Kangaroos and Pelicans

Kangaroos and Pelicans

Come with Travel Ideology to see wild kangaroos and pelicans.

The Entrance is a picturesque little town with a large sand bar. It is home to one of the largest pelican areas in the world. Volunteers check pelicans for medical issues, hooks in what used to be a pelican feeding ritual.

At another town not too far away, see kangaroos wandering around the town. Sometimes you see these urban big foots leaping down the street. At other times, you’ll see them in people’s gardens. See them feeding on the local parklands and a football field. Depending on the season, you may see a joey poke its head out of its mother’s pouch. They are fascinating and mesmerising to watch. This is a unique experience, led by a kangaroo whisperer.

Blue Mountains Tour

Blue Mountains Tour

Our Blue Mountains Tour lets you experience this amazing UNESCO listed wilderness the size of Luxembourg, just west of Sydney. With a beautiful bush landscape, cascading waterfalls, and stunning sandstone cliffs, this area is a must-see destination for any traveller’s list. The Blue Mountains are so named for the distinctive blue haze that hangs over the valley, created by the eucalyptus oil released by the vast gum trees. We will visit a number of iconic sites.

We visit The Three Sisters, an ancient rock formation and perhaps the most famous landmark in the Blue Mountains. Legend has it that three sisters were turned to stone by a tribal elder to protect them.

We ride the world’s steepest railway to the valley floor to explore the ancient rainforest.

We visit the lovely Wentworth Falls where water cascades over 100 meters, providing one of the region’s most impressive sights.

Our private Blue Mountains tours offer comfortable vehicles, flexible itineraries and personalised experiences.

We offer the option to add Featherdale Wildlife Park (small zoo) that specialises in showcasing Australian native animals including kangaroos, koalas, wombats, echidnas and wallabies.

Come explore the famous Blue Mountains on Sydney’s doorstep with Travel Ideology’s Blue Mountains Tour.

Sydney Parrots and Other Native Birds

Sydney Parrots and Other Native Birds

This Sydney Parrots and Other Native Birds tour gives guests a unique opportunity to experience some of the amazingly rich birdlife of Sydney.

The city’s parrot life is amazing. Whilst Australia’s kangaroos, koalas and wombats are iconic, there’s more to this country than its amazing mammals. Did you know that one sixth of the world’s parrots call Australia home? 56 species of the 300 or so species of parrot are found in Australia, and only five of these are found elsewhere in the world. More than a dozen of these are found in Sydney and many are found throughout the city’s leafy suburbs.

On your Sydney Parrots tour, you will see parrots and other native birds in at least three different locations around the city including a unique island where there are no cars and residents use wheelbarrows to cart their shopping home.

During this day tour you may see many of Sydney’s colourful parrots including king parrots, cockatoos, lorikeets, corellas, galahs and more. On some days you may encounter only a few of these species, on others they will find ten or so. Often, they may also see other birds including pelicans, ibis, kookaburras, brush turkeys, lapwings and magpies.
