The cellar door is set on historic Landcross Farm — a restored 1850s property — offering a warm, relaxed atmosphere surrounded by beautiful gardens and stunning views. Open daily from 10am to 5pm, it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a guided tasting, a glass of wine, or a delicious platter of local produce.
On weekends, Doughballs the Pizza Place brings woodfired pizza to the lawn, creating a social, laid-back experience that pairs perfectly with Paxton’s expressive Shiraz, Grenache, and fresh, vibrant whites.
Certified organic and biodynamic since 2011, Paxton is committed to sustainability without compromising on quality — making it a must-visit for eco-conscious travellers and wine lovers alike.
Family-owned and established in 1979, Paxton is a leader in organic and biodynamic winemaking. Founder David Paxton, one of Australia’s top viticulturalists, has helped shape the region’s global wine reputation. Today, Paxton produces premium wines exclusively from estate-grown fruit, using minimal intervention to let the fruit speak for itself.
Whether you’re planning a day out, a private event, or just chasing good vibes and great wine, Paxton Wines delivers a true taste of McLaren Vale — naturally grown, beautifully crafted, and best shared.
