Performance Arts Culture Cessnock (PACC) is a vibrant cultural hub located in the heart of Wine Country—just an hour west of Newcastle and two hours north of Sydney.
Each year, PACC delivers a diverse program of live entertainment and cultural experiences, celebrating the breadth of the creative arts industry. From world-class Australian and international theatre productions to innovative dance performances, top-tier comedy acts, and live music that spans both contemporary and legendary artists, PACC offers something for everyone.
In 2023, the launch of the PACC Gallery expanded the venue’s artistic reach, showcasing locally curated and touring exhibitions that highlight a range of creative talents.
The PACC complex features a 466-seat theatre with both stalls and tiered seating, a spacious foyer and kitchen, an exhibition space, a makers’ space, and a retail area. Additionally, it houses two versatile rooms suitable for meetings, presentations, and workshops, along with an outdoor performance area.
PACC is home to a variety of organisations, including the Cessnock Senior Citizens group, ADFAS (Australian Decorative and Fine Arts Society), and Hunter Drama’s weekly drama classes. It also serves as a venue for Cessnock City Council civic events and welcomes a diverse range of community groups, organisations, and individuals who utilise its spaces for workshops, meetings, and performances.
