Start your day with a visit to either Yanchep Lavender Farm or Yanchep Chocolate Drops Tearoom, where you’ll enjoy a delicious included morning tea featuring locally inspired treats. Continue to Cervantes for lunch at the iconic Lobster Shack (at own expense), known for its fresh Western Rock Lobster and relaxed seaside setting.
After lunch, stroll the Lake Thetis boardwalk to view ancient Stromatolites—some of the oldest living fossils on Earth. Then travel to Nambung National Park to explore the extraordinary Pinnacles Desert. Visit the Discovery Centre to learn about the region’s geology and Aboriginal cultural stories before walking among thousands of limestone pillars rising from the sand.
Season permitting, wildflowers such as banksias, bottlebrush, and kangaroo paws add vibrant colour to the landscape, creating a memorable sensory experience for nature lovers.
Relax on the return journey to Perth, arriving in the early evening.

Yanchep Lavender Farm
Guests will enjoy a visit to either the Yanchep Lavender Farm or the Yanchep Chocolate Drops Tearoom. At the Lavender Farm, indulge in treats like lavender ice cream and freshly baked scones, while the Chocolate Drops Tearoom offers a variety of exquisite chocolates and sweets. Morning tea is included, providing a delightful opportunity to relax and savour these delicious produce of the region.
Cervantes Lobster Shack
For lunch, we head to Cervantes, home of the renowned Lobster Shack, where you can choose from a tempting menu of delicious WA seafood. Enjoy your meal alongside a refreshing beverage while taking in the stunning coastal scenery. (Lunch is at the guest’s expense.)
Lake Thetis Stromatolites
Take an after-lunch stroll along the Lake Thetis boardwalk to view some of the world’s oldest known living fossils known as Stromatolites. In a region abundant with flora and fauna, we’ll wander through a kaleidoscopic of wildflowers, including the likes of banksias, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws; all bursting with life, when in season.
Nambung National Park
With our lungs full of fresh sea air, we’ll journey to Nambung National Park to witness the stunning Pinnacles Desert. These remarkable formations date back millions of years to a time when this land was submerged beneath the sea. Thousands of limestone pillars rise dramatically from the desert landscape. We’ll first stop at the Tourist Information Discovery Centre to learn about their fascinating history before walking a few hundred metres to get up close to these incredible structures. After soaking in the sights and scents of Australia’s west coast, we’ll return to Perth around 7:00pm.
