Pirathon Cellar Door in the heart of The Barossa Valley invites both locals and travellers to sample a curated flight of six wines—drawn from both Barossa and Clare Valley vineyards—in an elegant yet welcoming setting. In summertime the expansive lawns are ideal to make memories, moments and connections, whilst in winter the fire is always roaring.
Strategically located on the main road halfway between Tanunda and Nuriootpa, just minutes from shops and motels, Pirathon sits amid the Barossa’s best attractions.
Visitors might combine a tasting here with a stroll through historic Tanunda, a visit to other nearby wineries or linger longer while indulding in Pirathons Flammekueche flatbread pizzas.
Live music every Sunday is fast turing Pirathon into “the place to be”.
Disability access is available and coach parking ensures ease for groups.
The name “Pirathon” drawn from ancient Greek, means “peak” — a fitting metaphor for its aspiration to craft premium wine from top Barossa sites.
