Built in 1888, the Portarlington Grand Hotel watches proudly over the main street of Portarlington and down to the popular and scenic harbour area.

Recapturing an era when paddle steamers traversed Port Phillip Bay, the historic yet newly refurbished Portarlington Grand Hotel offers a boutique experience with a local welcome for all.

Choose your experience by eating and drinking in one of our four unique dining spaces. The Bistro and Front Bar feature a regional town atmosphere and some of the best local produce, and is the beating heart of the Portarlington Grand Hotel. The Atrium and Lawn are our newly designed open-air dining and drinks areas and are the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy a seaside view and socialise.
