Price is the northern gateway of Osprey recovery on Yorke Peninsula.

The mural featuring ‘Mum’, a local osprey, was created by two female South Australian photographers, inspired by the beauty of Price and the endangered eastern osprey in South Australia. Price sits on Wills Creek Conservation Park, a mangrove forest home to many birds. This peaceful spot is enjoyed by locals and visitors. Safe kayaking is welcome.

In 2021, an artificial platform was installed by helicopter at Will Creek to create a safe area for a pair of osprey to breed. This has proven successful, and yearly chicks have fledged, increasing the numbers of these endangered species.

The pink salt ponds are part of Cheetham salt the cleats salt in the southern hemisphere.
Together, this beauty is captured as a reflection of nature in Price’s backyard.

Enjoy the art in a playground grassed environment near public amenities and a free BBQ.
