Promnitz Gardens is a picturesque town garden with a connection to historical Waikerie. Named after the early pioneering family who built their home in the street, Promnitz Gardens is built on the site of one of the irrigation channels used to bring water to surrounding produce blocks in the early days of the town, the wall of the irrigation channel can still be seen today. The gardens are also home to one of the town horse troughs that serves as a reminder of transport in days gone by. The gardens feature shady park benches and bins.
