At the beginning of 2022, they took over the old Umbria Restaurant, located in the beautiful Chaff Mill building in Clare, to recreate an authentic Italian and family-friendly cuisine.

With vivid memories of long lunches and pots on the stove cooking for hours, they couldn’t find a better name than Ragù & Co. Ragu is the mother of all Italian dishes and represents the very essence of Italy’s food and culture.

Sharing the traditions of Italian cuisine blended with creativity and simplicity is their aim. Their chefs embrace the Italian methods to prepare the typical recipes from those small towns where the pureness of the ingredients and the attention to detail are the basis of the cuisine.

Ragù & Co try to stay as local as possible, using ingredients from Clare Valley to prepare hand-made pizza and superb gnocchi. Guaranteeing the freshest flavours, using seasonal fruit and vegetables from farms North of Adelaide and fish from the pristine Eyre Peninsula.

The wine list showcases a wide range of outstanding Clare Valley and Italian wines.
