The mural, painted by well-known silo artist Sobrane Simcock, was commissioned by Cafe Mierlo owner Adam Drust. The 20-metre long mural features a superb blue wren, an azure kingfisher, a yellow-billed spoonbill, a budgie, a ladybug and a blue-banded bee.

So come wander around the town’s lakes, creeks and wetlands, throw in a line, or you can simply enjoy a round of golf, bowls or tennis in the sunshine.
