Riverwood Downs is located on the banks of Karuah River, in the foothills of the Barrington Tops “World Heritage Wilderness”.
The resort is set in 15 acres of manicured parkland and gardens which is part of a 750 acre cattle breeding property with walking trails and river frontage. Whether you are looking for a great family holiday, a little adventure, or just rest and relaxation you can find it here. Pets Welcome.

The Bunkhouse Lodge
The Bunkhouse is a complex built especially for Groups. As its centerpiece, it has a huge 500m2 activities building with a large stage at one end with a magnificent rural outlook. The bunkhouse lodge has 28 bunkrooms which have 4 bunks in each and sleeps total of 112 people.
The 21 rooms open directly onto the central hall – the remaining 7 rooms are attached to the main complex by a covered walkway which makes all facilities comfortable to use whatever the weather. The rooms are also air conditioned and heated.
There is a ladies and gents toilet block, common room and kitchen with fridges, microwave, urn, toaster. Undercover BBQ area. All you need to bring is linen, blankets, plates, cutlery, cooking equipment and any cooking needs. Linen can be provided for an additional charge.
Riverside Spa Cabins
The Riverside Spa Cabins are part of the pet friendly accommodation and provide you with an open plan bedroom/spa bathroom with queen bed and air conditioning, plus a kitchenette/sitting room and a verandah overlooking the beautiful mountain river.
The River Cottage
Secluded two bedroom cottage has a magnificent, large shady verandah, right on the river.
The River Cottage is designed for self catering, with a full kitchen. The lounge room is
air conditioned, and has a phone and television. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom and a second bedroom equipped with two single beds. Maximum occupancy is four people.
Boutique Queen Room
Fully air conditioned rooms, with queen bed and a set of bunks. The rooms have a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, TV and ensuite. Tastefully decorated with designer fabrics, our rooms open onto beautiful shady verandahs, overlooking the gardens and lawns that lead to the mountain river.
Timber Park Cabins
Each of the 13 Timber Park Cabins sleep up to five guests and are self contained, with a private covered verandah and outside table and chairs.
The cabins are situated on the river flat and are just a short distance away from the beautiful mountain river, which is ideal for swimming. Pets welcome.
Camping and Caravanning
Shady powered and unpowered, large, level camping sites available for caravans and tents, adjacent to the beautiful mountain river and close to amenities. There are hot showers in the amenities block and a coin-operated laundry facility. Camp fires are allowed on unpowered sites (weather permitting).
