The best thing about Rottnest Island Diving and Scuba Diving in Perth is the Fantastic dive sites that are located so close to Perth City. Fremantle is the main Port of Perth City and this makes Fremantle the best place to jump on a boat and head over to Scuba Dive Rottnest Island.
Rottnest Island is a limestone rock-based Island, being of a soft porous composition. This soft rock coupled with the open Indian ocean currents, has created deep crevices, caverns and huge swim thru’s like you have never seen before. The soft corals are amazing, the fish life is truly diverse and the exploratory nature of the maze of caves is just sensational.
Snorkellers are welcome on the Rottnest Island trips. Please note that Snorkellers will be taken to locations adjacent to the main dive site that are suitable for viewing from a snorkel depth. Dive Traveller’s have a tender available to take snorkellers a short distance to suitable snorkel sites so non-divers can enjoy their day out at Rottnest Island.
