Southern Ocean Walk

The Southern Ocean Walk is a 4 day – 3 night immersive experience showcasing some of the most spectacular scenery along the south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia.

At just 90 minutes south of Adelaide it is easily accessible and conveniently located near the famous McLaren Vale wine region and Kangaroo Island.

It follows Australia’s most significant trail, the Heysen Trail from Cape Jervis to Victor Harbour and incorporates Deep Creek Conservation Park as well as Newland Head Conservation Park.

Guests can expect to see a diverse range of landscapes from pristine beaches and wind swept cliffs to dense forests and secluded waterfalls.

At the end of each day’s walk guests are transferred back to our comfortable accommodation exclusively located in Deep Creek Conservation Park. Here they can enjoy a pre dinner drink while our staff prepare a delicious meal using locally sourced ingredients.

We take you on an exploration of meandering forest trails, rugged coastlines and secluded beaches whilst being surrounded by abundant native wildlife.

Along the way you’ll see some of the best coastal panoramas our State has to offer along the famous Heysen Trail.

At day’s end we reflect on the amazing sites seen over a delicious 3-course meal sourced from local ingredients at our comfortable Homestead accommodation in the Deep Creek Conservation Park.

The Fleurieu Gourmet Tour is an all inclusive 4 day 3 night nature and nourishment extravaganza that explores the best food, wine and walks our region has to offer. It includes a range of walks from short strolls to more extensive explorations in Deep Creek National Park. These are interspersed with other activities such as visits to a micro-brewery and the McLaren Vale wine region for a degustation as well as cooking demonstrations by our resident chef.

The tour includes return transfers from Adelaide as well as daily transfers, accommodation, all meals including a gourmet lunch at a local micro-brewery and wine paired degustation at a famous McLaren Vale winery, professional local guides, cooking classes, National Park entry fees.
