Now in its 43rd plus year, the annual Sapphire Coast Week of Golf is the high point of the golfing calendar for the Pambula Merimbula Golf Club and for the Far South Coast region at large.
Described by the influential Inside Golf magazine as ‘the finest tournament of its type in Australia’, the competition annually attracts around 300-450 entrants from every state and territory as well as numerous overseas visitors from such places as the United Kingdom, Canada, Singapore and New Zealand.
Highly regarded for its friendly atmosphere and professional organisation the tournament has encouraged many return visits from golfers, some having participated for more than 30 years.
The Annual Week of Golf comprises multiple days of women’s, men’s and mixed competitions. The week concludes with the Pambula Merimbula Men’s Open Championship on the final Saturday and Sunday.
