Go Surf provides surf lessons and surfboard hire. They offer surf lessons at various breaks such as Leighton Beach, North Fremantle (in winter) and Brighton Beach, Scarborough (in summer).
Their surf lessons are suitable for kids and adults of all abilities, from beginner to advanced surfers. Kids’ lessons run on weekends, before school, after school, and during school holidays and they even do birthday parties!
They provide a variety of packages ranging from group surf lessons to private lessons for small groups or individuals.

Adult 2.5-Hour Surf Experience: Lesson + Practice Hire
Make the most of your time in the ocean with our 2.5-hour Adult Surf Experience (13+) — designed to help you learn faster and feel more confident in the water.
You’ll start with a 1.5-hour coached surf lesson, where our qualified instructor will guide you through the essentials (or help you level up if you’ve surfed before). We focus on technique, ocean awareness, and getting you riding waves safely with plenty of personalised tips along the way.
After the lesson, you’ll have an additional 1-hour surfboard and wetsuit hire so you can keep practicing what you just learned — while it’s fresh in your mind. This extra hour is the secret sauce for faster improvement.
Suitable for beginners through to intermediate surfers.
Perth Family Surf Experience – Private Group Lesson
Make the most of your time in the ocean with our 2.5-hour Adult Surf Experience (13+) — deMake it a family surf day with a Private Group Surf Lesson designed exclusively for your crew. You’ll get your own qualified surf coach (no strangers in the group), with lesson content tailored to your family’s ability level—whether you’re total beginners, returning surfers, or a mix of both.
These sessions are ideal for families who want a more personal experience, faster progression, and a relaxed vibe. We’ll cover the skills that matter most for your group—technique, surf etiquette, reading waves and conditions, and confidence in the water.
Optional add-on: Keep the momentum going with +1 hour surfboard hire for only $10 extra per person, taken immediately after the lesson so you can practice what you learned.
