Shaw + Smith began over a long lunch in 1989 when cousins Martin Shaw and Michael Hill Smith decided to realise a long held dream to make wine together. They specialise in Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz.
The Tasting Room at Balhannah opens onto a beautiful view of the Mount Lofty Ranges. Guests can enjoy one of three seated wine flights with a selection of seasonal plates from our Cold Larder menu.
For a more immersive experience, you can go behind the scenes with the Balhannah Tour, with a hosted tour of the vineyard and winery, followed by a wine tasting and seasonal produce.
