Tucked along the rugged west coast of Yorke Peninsula, Barkers Rocks Bush Campground offers a secluded, nature-filled escape for self-contained campers. Just 13 km from Minlaton, the campground splits into two areas: the left fork grants direct beach access via steps to a sandy shore, while the right fork provides a sheltered space with a toilet (though self-contained camping is still advised).
This peaceful haven is perfect for beachcombing, fishing, and soaking in stunning ocean sunsets. A Bush Camping Permit is required, and all visitors must follow Leave No Trace principles to protect the pristine environment.
For waste disposal, the nearest bin bank and dump point are at Minlaton Oval. Minlaton offers a full range of amenities, including a supermarket, pharmacy, hotel, petrol station, police station, ATMs, shops, skate park, playground, and Visitor Information Outlet.
A tranquil coastal getaway for those who love nature’s raw beauty.
