Hobart’s finest underground cocktail bar, specialising in Tasmanian gin and whisky, established in 2015.

Society’s impressive backbar is the centrepiece of the venue. Displaying a collection of over 500 rare and wonderful spirits, made accessible with a sliding ladder, reminiscent of a Disney fairy tale.

Sip on one of Society’s signature cocktails. Or sit down and enjoy a gin tasting platter. Featuring four different gins, matching garnishes and their own house-made tonic water, designed to highlight the delicate botanicals found in Tasmanian gin.

Whisky tasting platters are also available, allowing guests to discover and compare, award-winning Tasmanian single malts.

Society also hosts regular special events, which have a loyal local following including happy hour, drag bingo, trivia nights and disco DJ sets.
