Welcome to Sommerhaus 59, a thoughtfully designed retreat on Tasmania’s East Coast. Named after the German word for “summer house” this charming two-bedroom escape blends style, comfort, and nature, making it ideal for couples, small families, or friends.
Perched in an elevated position, it offers ocean and mountain views while being just a short walk from Sandpiper Beach. Inside, the newly renovated home features Tasmanian timbers, a solar-passive design for year-round comfort, and carefully curated interiors with modern amenities.
A highlight is the beautiful sunroom, a tranquil space to read, watch the birdlife, or simply relax. The open-plan living area includes Wi-Fi, a flatscreen TV, and even an indoor chair swing, adding a playful touch. Stay comfortable with air conditioning, enjoy coffee from the Nespresso machine, and make the most of the balcony and BBQ.
The home accommodates up to four guests across two stylish bedrooms, offering a restful base after exploring nearby beaches and attractions.
Sommerhaus 59 shares a driveway with Studio 59, a fully self-contained studio behind the main house. Available separately, it’s perfect for friends or extended family wanting extra space while maintaining privacy.
