Celebrate the winter solstice on one of Victoria’s most iconic coastlines at the Sorrento Solstice Festival.
This large-scale, one-night celebration transforms the Mornington Peninsula foreshore into a magical winter wonderland, drawing together the community and visitors from across Victoria and beyond for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
The festival features live music across multiple stages, atmospheric DJ sets, mesmerising fire performers, and a spectacular large-scale burning installation that lights up the winter sky in a breathtaking centrepiece moment. Roaming performers, immersive light experiences, and a vibrant atmosphere make this a truly unique night out for all ages.
Then greet the longest night’s dawn with the Solstice Sunrise Swim on the morning of 21 June, as brave souls take to the waters of Port Phillip Bay to welcome the returning light in true solstice tradition.
