Starward Distillery and Bar is a working distillery just ten minutes from Melbourne’s CBD. Founded in 2017, Starward has grown into a globally recognised, award-winning distillery known for pushing the boundaries of whisky.

Starward began with a simple vision; create a distinctly Australian whisky to offer the world with pride. From the grains to the red wine barrels, they source all of their ingredients from within a day’s drive of their Port Melbourne distillery. Melbourne’s notorious four seasons in one day weather is their secret weapon when it comes to maturing whisky, delivering a deliciously bold and juicy character in every bottle.

At their Port Melbourne home, guests can go behind the scenes on a guided tour and explore how their liquid gold is crafted, step into the team’s shoes to bottle their own whisky or relax in the bar with a signature cocktail. Tasting flights showcase the core range, special releases and whisky cocktails, all of which can be paired with small bites from the kitchen.

The Distillery’s bottle shop offers a chance to take home a piece of Starward including the full core range alongside some limited-edition releases.
