Be mesmorised by the dramatic setting and breathtaking views of Hobart Town from majestic Mt. Wellington. Crowned by alpine vegetation, dusted by snow in winter, Mt. Wellington enables a glimpse of the unfolding panorama of river, fields and the aquatic setting of Hobart town. Mt. Wellington guided tour up the mountain, with a stop at the spectacular summit.

Stops at Cascade Gardens, for a short walk where you can view the outside of the historic Cascade Brewery building. View the exterior of the Cascades Female Factory for and insight into the lives of the women convicts once imprisoned there.

The tour will stop at the Springs, which is halfway to the summit, where you can take an easy short walk on the Exhibition Garden circuit . From a carefully chosen vantage point on the summit, you can view the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area one of the last true wilderness areas left on the planet- pristine and largely unexplored it is one of the largest uninterrupted expanses of wilderness on Earth.
